ROAD DOG is a documentary film about the struggles, challenges and rewards of life on the road as a stand-up comedian. Mike Faverman works in several cities and comedy clubs all over the country, honing his craft and trying to pay his bills back home. ROAD DOG explores the comedy world, on stage and back stage, with interviews of comedians speaking candidly about making a living telling jokes.  Mike Faverman’s journey is arduous, but fulfilling. All he wants to do is to make people laugh yet during his quest, Mike realizes that comedy is no joke!

Mike Faverman is a touring stand-up comedian, filmmaker and writer originally from Boston, MA. He currently resides in Los Angeles and can be seen at the Comedy Store several times a week.

Jason Simas is a filmmaker, artist and writer who splits his time between Los Angeles and a beach cottage in Avila Beach, CA.
